The New England Quilt Museum is a showplace for both antique and contemporary quilts. Bringing together the best of both traditional folk art and contemporary fiber art, the museum is a celebration of the artform. Exhibitions range from a show by modernist artists to historic quilts from the 18th and 19th centuries.
The museum is also a gathering place for quilters of all styles and levels. Classes on interesting techniques, lectures by leading quilting scholars, and a shop featuring the newest fabrics make the museum a destination for quilt enthusiasts.
The museum also has a vibrant online community, featuring discussions and quilt patterns.
