The Southern California Medical Museum is dedicated to preserving the history and artifacts of Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Nursing and related fields in Southern California and the West. We are committed to educating the public about the contributions of medicine in our lives and the history of how this came about.
The museum started as the Historical Committee of the San Bernardino County Medical Society in 1982, founded by Merlin A. Hendrickson, MD. Over the years the museum has expanded its exhibits and scope to become the unique establishment of today.
An extensive collection of medical and related fields artifacts. These are from the last 180 years of medicine.
