The Houston Municipal Airport Terminal is a beautiful and rare example of classic art deco airport architecture from the golden age of flight. The Terminal served Houston during the years when air travelers dressed in their finest and embarked for exotic destinations aboard roaring propliners like the Douglas DC-3 and the Lockheed Constellation.

The Austin Nature and Science Center (ANSC) is Central Texas' only living nature and science museum. The ANSC is situated on an eighty acre preserve containing woodlands (80%), and a meadow area (20%). Two well-fed ponds, a major lake, a wet weather creek, and geological escarpments are some of the features on our site. This diverse location gives us a natural abundance of vegetation and wildlife.

The Fire Museum of Texas is housed in the 1927 Central Fire Station Headquarters. The mission of the museum is to educate the public about fire safety and the history of the fire service. In addition to guided tours the museum also offers a fire safety summer camp program, fire safety birthday parties, and a unique 3 day fire safety event for 2,000 school children in Ocotober in cooperation with Dupont.
