The 1845 Smith Plantation was home to three generations of Archibald Smith (one of founders of Roswell, GA) family until 1981. Original furnishings, 11 outbuildings, Cook and Carriage House, Barn, Slave Cabin, & Corn Crib can be viewed on the property. Activities for the family include Fall Farm Days, Harvest Moon Dinner Dance, Camp Yesteryear, and Gingerbread Christmas. Rotating exhibits feature some of the 3,000 artifacts belonging to the Smith family are on display in the Barn.

Barrington Hall, built in 1842, was the home of Barrington King, who along with his father, Roswell King, co-founded the town of Roswell. The historic home has been diligently restored and is furnished with many original family possessions. The surrounding seven acres of grounds feature the only antebellum public garden in the greater Atlanta area. Barrington Hall is located at 535 Barrington Drive, Roswell, GA 30075 facing the square in historic Roswell.
