The museum has a wide collection of armor, aircraft and soft-skinned vehicles. We rotate displays so that you may see something different on each visit. Plus each year we have increased the number of assets the museum holds. Watch for the completion of our Vietnam era firebase this year.

Glass, Steel, and Aluminum industries were the economic growth engines for the A-K river valley towns that grew in the shadow of Pittsburgh, attracting entrepreneurs, immigrant labor, and union organizers. You are invited to join in the efforts of the Allegheny-Kiski Valley Historical Society to preserve and celebrate the unique history of this region.
The Museum; Take a look at the A-K Heritage Museum, a beautiful 1931 Art Deco Building in Tarentum - the cobalt blue glass walls in the ballroom - the murals that tell the story of the home front during WWII - the aluminum collection from the world's first production plant for aluminum - the Tarentum Glass collection - and much more.
