Rabun County Historical Society has genealogical, census and cemetery records, and photos of the area and family artifacts on display.
Historic House
Built in 1904 for Rhodes Furniture founder Amos Rhodes, Rhodes Hall has been an Atlanta landmark for generations and is now a house museum, social and corporate event venue, and home to the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation. Rhodes Hall is one of the finest examples of Romanesque Revival style architecture in Georgia, and is listed on the National Register. The interior has been beautifully restored to its original Victorian grandeur and includes original fixtures and furniture of the Rhodes family. The painted glass windows in the grand staircase depicting the rise and fall of the Confederacy are one of the most unique Civil War memorials to exist.
History
Museum traces history, art, science of techology of papermaking from 200 BC to present. Rarest collection of paper and paper tools in the world and a large historical book collection. Workshops available. The museum has produced 3 traveling exhibits.
Organized in chronological order, the exhibits of the museum form a time line through history to promote cultural and historical awareness.
Roselawn is a 18-room Victorian mansion that houses the collection of Evangelist Sam P. Jones, its famous former resident, and others of the same era.

The Ralph Mark Gilbert Civil Rights Museum is dedicated to the life and service of African Americans and their contributions to civil rights and equality and justice in Savannah.
Historical Society
Richmond Hill was built in 1940 by Henry Ford as a kindergarten. It contains Ford artifacts, country store display, gift shop and much more.
The Root House museum depicts the small town life of an 1850's middle-class merchant and his family.
Art
The Roswell Visual Arts Center is a 9,000 sq. ft. glass and wood structure located in Roswell Area Park. The building includes 1,000 sq. ft. gallery. The gallery exhibits works of talented international, regional, local artists and art organizations.
The Rylander Theatre is a 1921 restored theatre facility open to the public. The theatre offers 5 performances, classic movies, video conferences and open for guided tours on a regular basis.
