The Arkansas Museums Association (AMA) is an organization of museums and museum personnel dedicated to the promotion of professional standards in Arkansas museums, the encouragement of interaction between members and the development of public support for and interest in Arkansas Museums.

AHSNH is a non-profit state-wide organization formed to facilitate networking among town historical societies. There are four meetings a year, the fourth Saturdays of April, June, August, and October.
AHSNH also publishes a newsletter, operates a website, and distributes an e-mail newsletter. The gem among networking opportunities, however, is the biennial Directory, containing contact information of all the historical societies in NH.

The Association of Indiana Museums (AIM) is the statewide advocate and information resource for Hoosier museums.
AIM serves Indiana's museum community by providing leadership, developing cooperative initiatives, and promoting the use of professional standards.

The Association of South Dakota Museums (ASDM) is an organization of museums and friends in service to the museum community in South Dakota since 1970. To fulfill its mission, ASDM holds an annual meeting, publishes a quarterly newsletter along with technical information pamphlets and a South Dakota Museum Directory, and organizes a series of workshops.

The purpose of the Delaware Museum Association is to assist museums and museum staff members (paid and volunteer) to develop programs, share knowledge and resources, and work to promote a healthy, ethical and mutually supportive system of private, county, state, and federal museums within the State of Delaware.

The Florida Association of Museums is the not-for-profit professional organization for Florida’s museums and museum professionals. The IAM is a private, non-profit organization and the only state-wide grassroots group devoted to serving Idaho museums. Established in the late 1970s, the IAM is a volunteer organization funded by membership and conferences fees, and since 1990, interest from a small endowment from the Idaho Centennial Commission.

The Illinois Association of Museums is an agent for positive change in the museum community-providing advocacy, promoting best practices, and fostering the exchange of ideas.

The mission of the Iowa Museum Association is to provide quality training and development to Iowa museum professionals and volunteers, advocate for support of member museums, and build a strong community of museums in Iowa.

The Kansas Museums Association (KMA) is dedicated to serving the museums and museum staff of Kansas. KMA members represent a rich diversity of museums from art centers to historical sites and societies to galleries to zoos. Individual members include students, curators, administrators, volunteers, trustees, educators and many others.

The Kentucky Museum and Heritage Alliance (KMHA) provides services and programs developed to increase public awareness and appreciation of museums throughout the state. KMHA offers professional development opportunities through workshops, seminars and meetings. The KMHA annual meeting, held at sites of interest across the state, provides members unique learning opportunities, access to a diverse network of colleagues and a voice in the future of the organization.
