The Fayette Public Library and Fayette Heritage Museum & Archives(LMA) is a unique facility especially for a small rural community. All three entities are housed in one building and all staff are cross-trained in order to assist patrons and visitors in all three areas.
The mission of the LMA is to preserve the history and promote the cultural heritage of the community; to promote education and love of reading for all; to provide the tools for research, past, present & future; and to enhance the quality of life for the diverse
population.
