The Museum is located next door to the Judson House. The Museum is now owned by the Historical Society and is part of the Historical Society Complex. Built on the site of the original French fort, this modern building includes numerous exhibits on the Indians who lived here, the French and British fur trade, and archeological excavations of the site that was conducted by Edinboro University.

Franklin County Historical Society - Kittochtinny

The Franklin County Historical Society - Kittochtinny has been the county's Historical Society from since 1898. The society's name was changed from the Kittochtinny Historical Society in 2005. The "Old Jail" at 175 East King Street in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania is home to the Society. The Old Jail also houses a museum and genealogical library. The Old Jail was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1970.
The society is responsible for the Old Jail museum, the John Brown House, the Brown's Mill School (a primary school in use from 1836-1921), and the Carrick Furnace (an Iron Forge in use from 1828 - 1884 and located in Metal Township).

Friends of the Robesonia Furnace

The Robesonia Furnace operated from 1794 to 1927 making pig iron. The Friends of the Robesonia Furnace operate a small musuem in what was the original Robesonia Furnace Firehouse.The musuem contains displays on the furnace operation and the town of Robesonia.

Fonthill Museum
Doylestown, Pennsylvania

Built between 1908-1912, Fonthill was the home of Henry Chapman Mercer (1856-1930). Archaeologist, anthropologist, ceramist, scholar and antiquarian, Mercer built Fonthill both as his home and as a showplace for his collection of tiles and prints. The first of three Mercer buildings in Doylestown, Fonthill served as a showplace for Mercer's famed Moravian tiles that were produced during the American Arts & Crafts Movement. Designed by Mercer, the building is an eclectic mix of Medieval, Gothic, and Byzantine architectural styles, and is significant as an early example of poured reinforced concrete.

Friends of the East Broad Top
Robertsdale, Pennsylvania

The Friends of the East Broad Top Museum presents the history of the East Broad Top Railroad & Coal Company, the industries it served in the surrounding area and the culture of the railroad, its employees and customers. The museum’s current exhibits are located in the historic Rockhill Iron and Coal Company Post Office and also includes the East Broad Top Railroad Station. Three original East Broad Top hoppers are now on display adjacent to the station on a section of restored track.
