The museum offers a chance to explore gold rush history and the stories of the pioneers who were a part of the 1890's Cripple Creek & Victor Gold Rush. You can see then and how gold mining by touring our Trails of Gold and taking a modern mine tour.
The museum was begun in 1960 by a group of Victor women who wanted to preserve the town's history. It is located in an 1899 former hardware store and hote in downtown historic Victor, Colorado.
Lowell Thomas memorabilia, mining artifacts, household items, historic doctor's office, Victorian rooms, large doll collection, historic Victor newspapers and photographs.
Tours of historic mines, downtown walking tours, museum tours.We also offer tours of the modern gold mine.
