Description

On behalf of the Wings family of members, volunteers and staff, welcome to Colorado's Official Air & Space Museum! Whether you are a veteran, family or young person, we look forward to serving you.

Whatever your age, background and career, there is something at Wings Over the Rockies for you. You are sure to find friendly staff and volunteers to make your museum experience special. During your visit this summer, you will also be among visiting members of the “greatest generation” whose World War II service made safe our way of life, as well as potential future astronauts and other members of the first generation who will walk on Mars!
Greg Anderson
President & CEO

Housed in our historic 150,000 sq. ft. 1930's-era former Air Force hangar, Wings Over the Rockies Air and Space Museum maintains a collection of over four dozen aircraft and space vehicles. Highlights of the collection include:
•a rare B-18A Bolo ,
•five of the Century Series fighters,
•an RF-84K Thunderflash parasite,
•an Alexander Eaglerock built in Colorado,
•WINGS is the only place in the world outside of the SAC Museum in Nebraska, where you can see a B-1A Lancer .

When planning your next corporate event, party or fundraising gala, offer your guests a one-of-a-kind experience in Colorado’s Official Air & Space Museum. Our WWII era hangar built in 1939 sits in the heart of the nostalgic Lowry Community. The main hangar floor space offers over 44,000 sq feet of open event space surrounded by an extensive collection of historical aircraft and aerospace exhibitory. The space can be customized with the movement of smaller aircraft and exhibits to accommodate groups as small as 150 guests up to 3,500 guests. Whether your event is a casual meeting or a formal celebration, our friendly, knowledgeable, and experienced Corporate Events Staff will provide you with the personal attention and professional expertise to make your event an occasion to remember.
