Description

2004 is the 200th anniversary of The Black Tavern in Dudley, MA. The Tavern offered sleeping accomodations, food and drink to weary 19th century travellers. Numerous events are planned for this year including a January 15th opening celebration with period music, wine and cheese. Admission is $5.00. The Society has recently purchased and initiated restoration af an adjacent building, The Black Tavern Barn.

The Black Tavern Historical Society newletter is published twice yearly and is free to all Society members. Please send $2.00 for a sample copy.
