Description

Tracy Aviary and Liberty Park provide refuge for many birds, including those of the wild. Our Feathered Friends Feeder Yards behind the Chase Mill and at the southeast corner of the Aviary encourage visits by numerous species of sparrows, chickadees, starlings and finches--some year-round. Many other wild birds are attracted to the landscaping, water features and relative safety of the Aviary and surround park. As you walk about our peaceful paradise, take note of birds beyond the exhibits to further enhance your experience

Annual Family Membership ensures admission for up to four guests to Tracy Aviary 364 days a year. Members also receive: *Discounts on camps, birthday parties and at the Nature Store *Admisison to member only events. *Free or discounted admission to zoos and aquariums across the country. History

Tracy Aviary is located on eight acres of land in the heart of Salt Lake City. A charitable act by Salt Lake City banker Russell Lord Tracy founded Tracy Aviary when he donated his private bird collection to Salt Lake City and its children. Open to the public since 1938, Tracy Aviary maintains a collection of approximately 400 birds representing about 135 species. Many of these birds are considered rare or endangered.
