A museum of woodcarving, gallery, gift shop, carving studio, theater, and instructional carving plaza
To elevate the art of woodcarving and expose the public to the many types of woodcarving done in the United State
Started in 1972 as Western Woodcarvings, our scope expanded in 1986 to become the National Museum of Woodcarving
Main part of our museum was created by one man, Dr. Harley Niblack, who spent over 70,000 hours creating woodcarvings, many which move and talk. He was an original animator of Disneyland. We also offer woodcarvings from over 70 of the top woodcarvers in the US today.
We offer woodcarving classes throughout the summer from one day to five days in length. The cover carving animals, birds, people, and much more.
