Pioneer Village: Nestled among a 35 acre pine grove, with 37 buildings several original log cabins locally built and furnished in the 1800,s. A climate controlled building with 36 cubicles filled with antique guns,clothing,cars and history items. Open from Memorial Day to Labor Day Thursday thru Sunday with special events on week ends.
To preserve our Wisconsin Heritage by educating our younger citizens of their forefathers life styles and tools to improve life for the upcoming generation.
The first building was moved into place in 1967 and since then 36 others have either been built or moved on. They must have been built or used in Barron County to be a part of this museum. 2010 brought us the funds to build a new Cultural Arts Center, we use as a means of renting, and the 101 year old Church is available for weddings and services of local churches. Food and refreshments are available.
