We are a county level private, not-for-profit organization that has a mission to gather historical and genealogical information, to maiintain the information and make it available to interested persons. Soon to have on display various Perry County artifacts as well as our Perry County photo collection consisting of over 10,000 images.
The Perry Hisotrians incorporated in 1986 and opened the Harry Lenig Library. In 1985 constructed a vault to house historical documents. Opened the Hoverter Archives in 2006.

Genealogical Seminars are hosted semi-annually; Workshops are hosted semi-annually; School visits as well as Boy and Girl Scouts Visits available for scheduling.

The Perry Historians published a bi-monthly newsletter "The Airy View" as well as "The Perry Review" on an annual basis.
