Research, public programs, exhibits, and publications related to Jefferson County, Pennsylvania. Our shop stocks publications, maps, etc. related to the county as well as gift items created by the people who live and work here.
Incorporated since 1971, the Jefferson County History Center opened in March 2004, the bicentennial of the county. The Miniature Railroad & Village(TM) now in Pittsburgh began in Brookville and our volunteers have created a Bowdish-like model railroad layout. Six more galleries of exhibits are available to visitors. Handicapped accessible.
