Opened in 1875, Hornby School is a restored one-room schoolhouse museum on the National Register of Historic Places.
The Hornby School is a living museum where students may experience school days as they were in the 1870’s using authentic artifacts, books, pump and outhouse.

In operation 1875 to 1956. Opened as a museum in 1981 after restoration.
Documents from all one-room schools in Greenfield Township, Erie County, Pennsylvania prior to 1956.
The 38' X 22' building houses one classroom, one cloak room, and a closet.
Newsletter is published at least once a year in spring.
Tour guide available each Sunday or schedule your class or group for a special tour.
