The Leesburg Historical Museum is located in the historic Woman’s Club Building just off Main Street. It houses artifacts and archives pertaining to businesses, city government, families, churches and social organizations that tell the story about Leesburg - from the days Leesburg was the Watermelon Capital of the country to the new millennia.
To collect, preserve, protect and present the colorful history of Leesburg, the Lakefront City, to residents and visitors in an interesting and educational manner through exhibitions and displays, tours, public programs, publications and maintaining collections of artifacts, books, documents and printed material and other resources that relate to Leesburg.
