Housed in the 1899 Victorian firehouse Reily Hose Company No. 10, the museum features an outstanding collection of artifacts from the hand-drawn equipment of yesterday to the modern tools of today.
Our museum features hand and horse drawn fire equipment from the 1790's through 1899.
We also have antique motorized equipment from 1911 through 1947. Our museum also features a working Gamewell Alarm system as well as a wide array of firefighting memorabilia.
There is a space in the museum where members can place attracts of there choice. Either of there own, There fire company's or Family members collection. In the past the Wagner's Family display, As well as Dave Warren's Lower Allen Fire Company display. Currently the Cook Family want to honor there father and grand father.
Your generous donations are always welcome. We are always looking for firefighting artifacts and memorabilia. Items in your parents' or grandparents' attic could be what we're looking for to fill in our displays. The smallest pin or picture might be the missing link to tell a story. Monetary donations are equally appreciated.
CLOSED ON HOLIDAY WEEKENDS during the summer, Memorial Day, Independence Day and Labor Day weekends.
