The Galleries located on the campus of Ringling College of Art and Design—which include the William G. & Marie Selby Gallery, Richard & Barbara Basch Gallery, Willis A. Smith Construction, Inc. Galleries, Patricia Thompson Gallery, Arland & Sally Christ-Janer Gallery and Crossley Gallery—provide community programming in the form of lectures, forums, panel discussions, and performing arts events. Participants include exhibiting artists and designers, visiting historians and critics, and Galleries staff.
The Galleries support the mission of the Ringling School of Art and Design to provide an intensive professional education in the visual arts by bringing the work and perspectives of major national and international figures in the art and design world to campus through exhibitions and programs related to the curriculum.
Since 1986, Ringling College of Art and Design has augmented its instructional program with exhibits by nationally and internationally renowned artists in its campus Galleries.
