We have two buildings, the Cheney House and the Museum. The Cheney House contains the office, library and our collection (photos, documents, maps, files, etc.) Cheney House is available to researchers during office hours. The museum has permanent displays as well as a rotating exhibits.
The Manlius Historical Society is dedicated to serving the Town of Manlius by preserving and fostering an appreciation of the history and hertiage of Central New York, with special emphasis on the Town of Manlius, New York.
Once a month, we feature a special program, such as, walking tours, speakers, movie nights, and many more. During the year, we sponsor two fundraisers. The Antique Show is in February/March and the Arts and Crafts Festival is the last weekend in October. We are very fortunate to have in our shows the best antique dealers and artists/crafters around.
Tours of the Cheney House and Museum are available upon request. So feel free to call and make arrangements.
