Description

A 1937 WPA reconstruction of the 1819 San Bernardino Rancho Estancia. The historic property was home to pioneer settlers Jose del Carmen Lugo, Mormon Bishop Nathan C. Tenney, and Dr. Benjamin Barton. California Historic Landmark #42

Using materials and building methods similar to its original construction, the Asistencia was restored in 1930 on its original foundation to its appearance during the time of the California Missions construct from 1830 - 1834.

Walk through the oversized gates of the Asistencia and feel the 200 years of legacy from previous guests who have mingled amongst the lush regional succulents under the canopy of mature trees. The Asistencia's romantic spaces, historic charm, and breathtaking native gardens are all part of what makes any event spectacular on its grounds.

Modern amenities meet timeless, Old World charm. Whether one is hosting an intimate gathering or a gala event, the Asistencia provides a high event experience. We combine our expertise with your personal goals to weave a breathtaking story which celebrates your legacy, connects and delight your guests.

Facilities

All wedding/event packages include exclusive use of the grounds, the Bridal Suite, Groom's Rooms, Barton Room, Chapel, Caterer's Prep Kitchen (9:00 am – 10:00 pm the day of the event) and a one hour rehearsal prior to your wedding. Rental time includes set-up, clean-up and pictures. Additional time outside of rehearsal hour and day of event can be added for a nominal fee.

We are currently accepting reservations for weddings, parties, milestone celebrations, reunions and other social gatherings.
