Community Resource for historical information.
The Academy was built in 1853 and served as a school until NYS decommissioned the Academy in 1902 - last graduating class from the Academy was 1902. It remained a district school for a few years and then the Church ladies Aux used it for community events. It is now under the hands of the Macedon Historical Society, with events through out the year.
