The Historical Glass Museum acquires, documents, exhyibits and preserves representative samples of American glassmaking, creates educational programs for young people to develop interest in glassmaking and educates the public about current and future uses of glass in daily lives.
The Historical Glass Museum was founded in 1976 to preserve the history and knowledge of American glassmaking in a historic 1905 home open to the public.
