The Naples Museum is a must-see attraction during your visit to Naples. Donations are greatly appreciated and go towards the continued operations of our museum and information center.
Just one of our exhibits are about the Naples Steamboat Company. They had 3 boats that traveled between Portland and Naples or Standish and Naples. When they stopped using the canal (because of the railroad), they went to the Standish Landing.
During your visit, pick up a souvenir on sale at the information center. Two of our most popular items are the book, Now I Will Tell You the History of Naples, by Bob Dingley and a decorative plate featuring Naples historical sites
A big hit is our Antique Fire Truck and yes it runs. See it in our museum or in the 4th of July Parade.
