A small, community museum located in a beautifully restored 1936 schoolhouse. It details the history of Enterprise,founded in 1841, the first county seat of Volusia County
Our schoolhouse was donated by the county School Board in 2004 and restored by volunteer labor. We opened in October 2014.
Exhibits on : Local black history, turpentine industry, Turner Power Plant; Thornby Home; Brock House; Steamships on the St. Johns River; All Saints Episcopal Church; Barnett Methodist Church; Florida Methodist Childrens Home and more.

We give free guided tours as requested.
We have a recreated period classroom set up; book-sharing for adults; books for children; and museum room. We are able to hold events for 50 people (lectures, presentations, etc.)
