A few years ago, the MAGS Library was moved to the Shenandoah Genealogy Room in the Shenandoah County Library in Edinburg, Virginia.

The Shenandoah Room consists of a non-circulating collection of local history and genealogy books. Because of the large number of Germans, who settled in the area, the addition of the MAGS Collection greatly enhances the holdings and research capabilities for local and visiting patrons. The Shenandoah Room is open for in-house research to the public and all MAGS members who visit Shenandoah County Library in Edinburg, Virginia.

Only MAGS members registered with the library have access by mail to the MAGS Collection. In addition, registered MAGS Library members, who live in the area of the Shenandoah County Library, may check books out of the MAGS collection. They are the only patrons permitted to borrow materials from the MAGS Collection. A list of registered MAGS Library members will be maintained by both SCL and MAGS.

The address and telephone number for SCL are: MAGS Lending Library, c/o Shenandoah County Library, 514 Stoney Creek Boulevard, Edinburg, VA 22824, Phone (540) 984-8200
