The Corita Art Center is a gallery and archive dedicated to preserving and promoting the art of Corita Kent, the spirited artist, activist, teacher and former nun. We exhibit Corita's bold serigraphs here and facilitate exhibitions elsewhere, also offer educational programs, research opportunities and hundreds of Corita's original signed serigraphs and watercolors for sale.
According to Corita's will, after her death in 1986, her unsold prints came to her former sisters of the Immaculate Heart Community. Thus began the Corita Art Center. We have ongoing permanent displays of Corita's work and have facilitated exhibitions around the world from Australia to New York; Austria to San Francisco.
Thousands of serigraphs and watercolors by Corita Kent.
Photographs and ephemera from Corita's life and teaching.
Guided group visits to the Corita Art Center include a short film, gallery tour and looking game.
