The University of Arizona College of Optical Sciences is proud to offer access to the Museum of Optics, its collection of antique and historic telescopes, microscopes, lenses and cameras. These specimens represent work by the world's most respected instrument makers from the 18th century to the present.
Additional technical information of the optical and mechanical components is continuously catalogued, and new items are added regularly.
Founded in 2011 by professor of optical sciences John E. Greivenkamp.
Free self-guided tours are available during business hours; guided tours with the curator are available at special request.
