Moody Gardens is a public, nonprofit educational destination utilizing nature in the advancement of rehabilitation, conservation, recreation and research. It features a the newly-enhanced Rainforests of the World exhibit inside the beautiful Rainforest Pyramid - complete with a gorgeous collection of exotic and endangered plants and animals. Other attractions include the Aquarium Pyramid, the Discovery Museum, the Colonel Paddlewheel Boat, the MG3D theater, the 4D Special FX Theater and the newly-enhanced Palm Beach water park. Moody Gardens also has a four diamond hotel and one of the highest-rated golf courses in the area.

With 1.5 million gallons of water and more than 10,000 marine animals, the Aquarium Pyramid showcases the complex beauty of the North Pacific, South Pacific, South Atlantic and Caribbean in four exhibits within the 10-story blue-glass aquarium building.The pyramid also includes tide pools, “touch tanks” and unique viewing opportunities as well as underwater classrooms and learning experiences for guests of all ages.

Educational Programs

The Moody Gardens education department hosts several events for children, including overnight and day camps, guided tours, opportunities for scouts to earn badges and several other outreach programs to help foster a knowledge and appreciation of nature.
