Youth Group Safety Programs: Make sure that everyone in your youth group knows how to prevent fires and how to escape from a burning home…and that everyone knows the importance of working smoke alarms! The Fire Museum welcomes groups of up to 50 children, for our exciting fire safety education presentation. The cost is $5 per child (adults are free) . . . for information that can save lives!
The museum's unique facilities may be rented by individuals, businesses and organizations for wedding receptions, parties and other memorable events. Corporate meetings and birthdays, anniversaries and retirement parties are even more special at Historic Fire Station 3. Please call (954) 290-6901 for complete information.
Two historic fire engines are featured in our Apparatus Display. The engines are Fort Lauderdale's restored 1942 Engine 3 "Parade" fire engine, and this historic 1928 Ahrens-Fox piston pumper, which served with distiction with the Chicago Fire Department, on loan for display.
Our Fire Museum is successful due to the hundreds of wonderful volunteers who donate thousands of hours of valuable work in many areas. Here are a few photos of them. THANKS, volunteers!
