Displays of native animals and their natural habitats in Napa Valley; native plant, wildlife habitat garden; nature walks in Westwood Hills Park (picnic area); natural resource library available for reference on site, and children's library and games.
To enhance public knowledge about and encourage the preservation and protection and enjoyment of Napa County plants and animals.
Started in 1984 by the Napa Valley Naturalists with a bequest from member Carolyn Parr.
Native fauna and flora in grassland, wetland, riparian, woodland and chapparral displays, raptors, other birds and bird nest displays. Local rock collection by Gem and Mineral society (polished rocks for sale in gift shop). Grinding rocks and other rocks. Wasps nests and other pollinator materials.
Weekday, evening guided tours for schools and other groups, pre-school trunk program $15
