Exhibits date from the founding of the Missouri Militia in 1808, to today's modern Guard. Items cover the Missouri National Guard its involvement in the Civil War, World Wars I and II, and other conflicts; plus humanitarian relief efforts.
The Museum of Missouri Military History was opened in March of 1999.
Artifacts pertaining to the history of the Missouri State Militia and the National Guard.
Archival records from Civil War to present include; unit rosters, lineage and honors, individual service sheets and naval militia records.

We've implemented some rules for visitors due to the COVID-19 pandemic:
-- No groups larger than twenty people will be allowed in. If your group is larger than 20 you will have to break down into smaller groups and remain separated.
-- Family units entering the Museum should remain together and practice social distancing from other families and individuals.
-- Children MUST remain with their parents or guardians the entire time you are on the grounds or in the building.
