The museum is open during evening and matinee performances of Baylor Theatre and during other special events held in the Hooper-Schaefer Fine Arts Center.
Admission is free and all events are open to the public, unless otherwise specified.
PARKING: Limited visitor parking is available in the South parking lot adjacent to the Fine Arts Center. Additional visitor parking is located across the street in the Weithorn Visitor Center. The circle drive at the front of the Fine Arts Center offers 15 minute parking.
The museum serves as an invaluable teaching and scholarship tool for students and faculty. Exhibitions complement the courses of art history and studio art taught within the Department of Art.
And we are dedicated to the guardianship and preservation of a permanent collection that now contains over 1,000 pieces of historical and contemporary artwork.
The Martin Museum of Art, Baylor University, offers quality exhibitions of fine art to the students, faculty and staff of Baylor University and to the Waco and Central Texas communities. These exhibitions compliment the courses of art history, art appreciation and studio art taught within the Department of Art but are free and open to the public.
