We are restoring the Mount Vernon Iron Furnace.
Started in 1996 our Society has grown over the past 10 years. We are host to the annual Bullskin Township Heritage & Community Days held the first Saturday and Sunday in June. Projects include the restoration of the Historic Mount Vernon Iron Furnace which was built in 1801.
We are in the process of starting a geneaolgy library. We also have historic pictures and information about the Bullskin Townships one room schoolhouses and churches. We also have other miscellaneous historical items.
