The Robert and Frances Fullerton Museum of Art has accumulated a collection of close to 1,200 objects focusing on ceramics, ancient and contemporary art; the largest of which includes some 500 pieces encompassing over 4,000 years of Egyptian history. With nearly 7,500 square feet of gallery space, a portion of the museum's permanent collection is on continuous display as well as a dynamic schedule of visiting exhibitions.
RAFFMA hosts an average of 10,000 visitors annually. The Museum's audience consists of university students, faculty and staff, groups of school children (K-12) and members of the local community as well as visitors to the region. To CSUSB students, especially, the Museum offers a variety of opportunities providing valuable hands-on work experience and preparation for future museum related careers.
When you visit the RAFFMA, you find it's more than a museum, it's an unforgettable experience. Guests of the museum can explore for themselves the cultural richness hidden within the tales of Ancient Egypt spreading beyond the barriers of time and into modern day.
Come and see, learn and be inspired at RAFFMA!
RAFFMA educates, inspires, and engages students and visitors by providing a variety of dynamic programs. Through guided tours, art lectures, publications, our popular Egyptian art workshop for kids, and many family-oriented events the museum works to cultivate an appreciation for art and culture. Please call 909-537-7373 or visit RAFFMA to schedule a tour, view a list of upcoming events, or pursue volunteer opportunities at RAFFMA, one of San Bernardino and Riverside's vital education sites for inspiring and maintaining public interest in the arts.
