The Camp San Luis Obispo museum is a tribute to the Soldier and Airman who have passed through our Gates from 1928 to present.
Camp San Luis Obispo is the original home of The California National Guard. It has been the States original summer training camp, and the training ground for 10,000 troops during WWII. It was given back to the State in the late 1950's and then re-activated for Korea. It reverted back to State control in 1964 and has remained the crown jewel of California Training Sites.
Memorabilia from the Camp's early days in the 1920's (Infantry and Artillery) through current day Iraqui Freedom.
