The Gift Shop at the Schifferstadt Architectural Museum and Heritage Garden offers a variety of items related to the history of Schifferstadt and Frederick, along with items made by local artists and crafts workers. Books about architecture, gardening, colonial cooking and history, along with toys from bygone eras and craft kits, bring the past to life.
Featured are local artists such as painter Harry Richardson and potter Robert Strasser. Hand-dipped candles from Dian Putman and hand-spun and knit items from Mary’s Delight Farm are also available.

For more than 30 years, Frederick County Landmarks Foundation has provided a framework for people to preserve the past to benefit the future. Success stories include a toll house, the Schifferstadt Architectural Museum and Heritage Garden, the Beatty-Cramer House and the Derr House. Please join us in an effort to continue to inform and educate the Frederick community about the importance and value of historic preservation and of learning from our history!
