Cattle Raisers' Museum opened in 1981 as a part of the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Foundation.
Documented collection of 1200 branding irons; documented collection of saddles from 1860's - 1920's; collection of 25,000 old pictures and manuscripts and minutes of proceedings dating back to 1870's.
Research is by appointment only.
We provide a training manual and personal training for docents. Training is also included in monthly meetings. We have a wide range of educatinal programs available to schools and adults based on age, interest and need. Several activities and educational trunks are available. Fees for production or reproduction, shipping and insurance.
