We bring local history to life. War of 1812 and Pirate re-enactments, open hearth cooking, living history demonstrations are some of the events we host. Visit us at the restored 1840 Lock Tender's house on the Susquehanna & Tidewater Canal.

History

Formed in 1975 to preserve and interpret the history of Havre de Grace, the Susquehanna & Tidewater Canal, and the Susquehanna River and upper Chesapeake Bay.

Artifact Collections
Restored 1840's lock tender's home full of period artifacts. Exhibits of canal related artifacts, and artifacts of the city.
