The purpose of the Friend Family Association of America is to collect, record, preserve, and share the history of all family groups, to strengthen all family relationships, and to deepen appreciation for those who came before us and the values they cherished.
John Friend discovered Friendsville in 1765, bought the land from the Shawnee Indians and brought his family from Oldtown, VA now MD.
We have a collection of artifacts used in their way of living, a collection of genealogy & descendants put here by members of various families.
