The Winona History Center is located in historic Westminster Hall on the campus of Grace College in Winona Lake, IN.
To foster educational and scholarly interest in Winona's heritage through the preservation and exhibition of historical collections and by inspiring a new generation to discover the treasures of American history.
As part of the 1998 restoration of Westminster Hall, Grace College president Ronald E. Manahan decided the west wing of the building should be dedicated to Winona?s history, and two years later the Reneker Museum of Winona History opened under the direction of Steve Grill and Carol Forbes, both of whom worked tirelessly to make the museum a reality.
In 2014, the museum was reorganized under the direction of the Grace College Department of History and Political Science and became part of the newly formed Winona History Center. In addition to the museum, the center offers tours of the Billy Sunday family home and for researchers, the archives house thousands of documents, recordings, and letters from Winona's rich past.
