Over 2500 square feet of murals, painted by local artists on the atrium walls of the Fountain County Courthouse in 1939 under the direction of Euguene V. Savage world renown muralist and howetown boy. Depict the settlement and development of the Wabash River and Fountain County, Indiana area. Only known place in the world to have such an exhibit of local history portrayed in murals. Courthouse was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2009 as art and architecturally significant. Small display of Eugene V. Savage's life and accomplishments also located in the courthouse.
Painted in late 1930's by local artists under the direction of Eugene Savage, world renown muralist.
