The Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum combines scholarship and showmanship to provide the world's most unique and enjoyable history museum experience. From the full-size replica of the 1861 White House facade with the Lincoln family standing in front, to the roar of cannons or the appearance of ghosts on stage, to the priceless original Lincoln artifacts on display, the museum offers something for everyone.
The Plaza is the center of the Museum, a spectacular setting for special events and after-hours functions. Here stand figures portraying the Lincoln family in 1861. Standing in the Plaza, what you can see around you are these features:
Journey One – The Pre-Presidential Years.
The Union Theater.
Journey Two – The White House Years.
The Treasures Gallery.
Ghosts of the Library Holavision Theater®
The Illinois Gallery.
Mrs. Lincoln's Attic (the Kids' Area)
SUBWAY®.
