We have over 350,000 3x5 cards on file listing the location of newspaper obits, marriages, births, etc. for people who are or have lived in Hancock County, Illinois.
Our organization has been in existence for over 40 years.
We hold quarterly meetings at which are scheduled people to give presentations on local history and culture. There is no cost to attend these presentations.

We produce a quarterly newsletter which is distributed to all of our members and complimentary copies are sent to various other historical societies and museums in the area.
