Description

We offer a Voices from the Past program that is free to the public on the second Sunday of each month, September-April. Local individuals present information on historic topics of area interest. We also have a historic German language church service on July 4th. Usually a bus tour is available in the fall.

The William Stolley home has items on exhibit that depict the early pioneers to the area. The home was built in 1857-1859.

Mission

The Hall County Historical Society promotes the research education and preservation of Hall County's heritage and history.

History

We are the oldest county historical society in the state of Nebraska, founded in 1922.

We have very minimal artifacts.
