Features the history of the Carolina Freight Company and its founder, C. Grier Beam. Collection inlcudes l4 Carolina Freight trucks.
The museum houses 14 antique trucks ranging from a 1927 Chevrolet to a 1962 B-Model Mack. The museum also displays other trucking memorabilia from the last seven decades.
Our museum regularly hosts groups from area truck driving schools, as well as school classes and scout troops.
Memorials & Honorariums
The C. Grier Beam Truck Museum has a special section for "In Memoriam" and "In Honor" plaques located in the museum. It is the perfect way to honor a family member or friend who was employed by Carolina Freight Carriers, or was connected in some way to the trucking industry; or perhaps had a passion for antique trucks.
Museum is a nonprofit corporation governed by a seven-member board of directors.
Quarterly newsletter is mailed in January, April, July, and October to museum members and other interested persons.
