Zoo Choo: The train is running seven days a week (weather permitting). For more information about the Zoo Choo, please call (540) 343-3241. The Zoo Choo is $2 per rider for two laps around the Zoo.

Mill Mountain is a 3.5-acre zoo, exhibiting over 55 species of mammals, birds and reptiles including: Siberian Tiger, Snow Leopard, Red Pandas, Japanese Macaques, bald eagle and much more. Special events and educational programs year round, picnicking, wildflower garden, café, Zoochoo train buses seasonal. AZA accredited
88 animals including 7 endangered species
Keeper chats, animal encounters, tours, special family events, teacher workshops, and group tours.
Our Education Department has special programs available for groups ages 4 – college. We also offer special programs for scout groups, camp-outs and home-schools with designed programs to fit your needs. Can’t come to the Zoo? Let us bring some animals to you.
