The Lakeshore Museum Center is a natural history museum with a focus on Muskegon County and Michigan. Take a 400 million year journey in Michigan Through the Depths of Time and enjoy hands on opportunities in the Science Center and Body Works. Fun for all ages.
An on site gift shop offers books on local and are history, childrens educational toys and games, jewelry and gift items.
The mission of the Lakeshore Museum Center is to preserve and interpret through exhibits, education and programs, the natural and cultural history of Muskegon County.
The Lakeshore Museum Center was founded in 1937.
The Lakeshore Museum Center is governed by a volunteer Board of Trustees.
